Derval O’ Rourke

Co-founder/Partner

Co-founder, Derval O’ Rourke, former professional track athlete for 12 years who represented Ireland in sprint hurdles, attending 3 Olympic Games with a career highlight being crowned World Champion in 2006 in Moscow. During her earlier career as an athlete, Derval attended UCD where she held a sports scholarship between 2000 and 2004. Derval graduated with a BA Honours degree from the college in 2003 and a diploma in Business Studies from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business in 2005. She also holds an MA Business Management from Smurfit Business School.  

After the Olympic Games in 2012, Derval embarked on a new journey and attended the Dublin Cookery School. The combination of this with her life as a professional athlete gave Derval the idea to write a healthy cookbook called “Food For the Fast Lane”, this book became a number one bestseller and was followed up by my equally successful second book “The Fit Foodie”.

Since retiring as a professional athlete I’ve become a mum of Dafne and Archie and business owner of DHR 

As a working mum I feel really passionate about creating simple but enjoyable ways for people live well

Greg O’Gorman

Co-founder/Partner

Co-founder Greg O’Gorman, Former Group Marketing Director for over 14 years of the Kilkenny Group, a family business with over 15 stores & restaurants nationwide as well as a very active online business. As Group Marketing Director, Greg was responsible for all elements of developing & leading a team of professionals that resulted in the Kilkenny brand becoming one of Ireland’s leading gift retailers and an established household name for all things Irish design.

The role included a strategic leadership approach within Marketing, Advertising, PR, eCommerce and of course Digital. Greg has extensive experience in the area of online brand building from inception to a multi-million euro turnover.

Greg is grandson of serial entrepreneur Christy Kelleher, founder of Blarney Woollen Mills, and is following in his grandfathers footsteps through his nomination as a finalist in the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2014. Greg along with co-founder Derval O’ Rourke set up DHR in 2018 with a clear objective to help and support their members live a healthier lifestyle.

Ivan O’Donoghue

IT Director

Ivan comes from a corporate background, with 13 years of software, hardware and quality engineering experience under his belt at EMC (now Dell). Ivan subsequently launched a successful web and digital agency, working with multinationals and Ireland’s largest brands, as well as mentoring startups.

Ivan is DHR’s IT director, with responsibility for all web properties, and information technology within the organisation.

Avril Keegan

Marketing & Digital Executive

Avril joined the DHR team in 2019 as Marketing & Digital Executive and has a very diverse role within DHR. Avril is responsible for contributing to all marketing and digital content for DHR and their brand p partner platforms  She develops and executes the itinerary for all partners during their visit to DHR head office in Cork which includes videography and photography. shoots. Avril also works closely with all members of the DHR team to be constantly delivering fresh exciting content for our partners. 

Sarah Moriarty

Marketing & Digital Executive

Sarah started with the DHR team in the second half of 2019, and since then has taken on a variety of responsibilities. Sarah’s role includes customer service for all DHR brands, social media content creation & management, digital marketing responsibilities and content management of DHR partner platforms. Within the customer service aspect of her role, Sarah moderates all social media while also monitors and manages a private member social platform. Sarah also supports the rest of the DHR team in their daily tasks.
